Become A Volunteer
If you're interested in making a difference in the lives of hospice patients and their families, please plan to attend the four upcoming volunteer orientations!
All Iowa Health Hospice volunteers are required to complete 14 hours of orientation to learn about:
- Hospice philosophy;
- Require documentation;
- Patient confidentiality;
- Grief;
- Bereavement;
- End-of-life spirituality; and
- Disease management.
Volunteers are also required to complete an application and pass a criminal background check and TB skin test.
