Hiring Process

Iowa Health Home Care’s Hiring Process:

  1. First, on our homepage, click on the Employment/Careers link.
  2. Second, click on Employment Opportunities near the bottom of the page.
  3. Third, click on Create an Account. This allows you to establish your username and password. You will also be asked to create two questions and answers in case you forget your login information.
  4. Next, complete the online application and select jobs of interest.
  5. Finally, submit your online application.
  6. Our hiring managers will review all submitted applications. Applicants who meet criteria for the job opening will be selected for interviews.
  7. Applicants who do not meet criteria will receive an email notification.
  8. If you are the final candidate selected for the opening, the manager will make you a verbal offer. If you accept the offer, you will sign an official offer letter and complete our background check forms for processing.
  9. You will be expected to complete further requirements depending on your position. These could include: TB testing, drug screening, physical, D.O.T. requirements, and a Physical Capacity Profile (PCP).
  10. Upon completion of your pre-employment requirements, a start date will be determined.
  11. Your first day of employment will be a one-day orientation with our human resources, compliance, performance improvement and education departments. Lunch will be provided for you.
